A genus Spizella (Bonaparte, 1832) is a class action of American sparrows in the family Emberizidae.

These birds come comparatively little & lose weight, by owning short bills, circular heads & hanker wings. It is normally uncovered around semi-open areas. Outside of the incubation year, it typically forage inside microscopic mixed flocks.
